Not everyone in general. One person, by name, today. Ask God to meet them where they actually are this Christmas.

Learn a neighbor's name

The one you wave to and have never actually met. Christmas is a good excuse to finally ask.

One Big Night, Christmas edition

MW Students, 6th to 12th grade. All three campuses gather at Tucker. The biggest night of the month for students, dressed for Christmas.

Say the thank you you keep meaning to say

There is someone who helped you this year and never heard you say it out loud. Today is the day.

Be generous where nobody is watching

A bigger tip, a covered bill, a need you quietly meet. No post about it, no credit. Just do it.

Invite one person to Christmas at Mountain West

You already know who. Ask them today, and offer to save them a seat beside you.

Call someone who will be alone this year

A call takes five minutes and lands differently than a text. Make the call.

Give something away

Go through the closet, the pantry, the garage. Someone needs what you are not using.

Tell a kid the Christmas story

Sit down with a child in your life and tell them why we do any of this. Let them ask questions.

Forgive the small thing

The one you keep rehearsing. Let it go today so you are not carrying it into Christmas.

Check on someone who is grieving

The holidays make loss louder. You do not need the right words. Just do not let them sit in it alone.

Bring coffee to someone who is working

Somebody is working through this season so the rest of us can enjoy it. Show up for them.

Write it down instead of typing it

A card in somebody's hand outlasts a text. Write one today and actually mail it.

Make room at your table

Set one more place. Invite the person who has nowhere to be this week.

Ask someone how they are really doing

Then stay quiet long enough to hear the real answer. That is what making room looks like.
