Time Manager

Pastor Mo Huggins · Sunday, October 4

Ever reach the end of a busy day and wonder how you did so much, yet still missed what mattered?

In Time Manager, Pastor Mo reminds us that our time is a gift from God. Our lives belong to Him, and we honor Him by caring for the days He's entrusted to us. That includes knowing what deserves our yes, giving people our full attention, and making room for rest.

You may not be able to change every demand on your calendar. Start with one part of your week and ask God to help you use it well.

"So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom."

Psalm 90:12

  1. Put God first. Begin the day by listening to Him.
  2. Know your assignment. You do not have to say yes to every good opportunity.
  3. Be fully present. Give the person or task in front of you your attention.
  4. Give your best. Bring care to what you have said yes to.
  5. Make room for rest. You can stop and trust God.
  6. Live with the end in mind. Let what matters to God shape today.

Take it to your group

Four questions for week 1.

Use these at your table, in your group, or over dinner. New ones go up each week.

  1. Where did most of your time go this past week? How does that compare with what matters most to you?

  2. What makes it hard for you to rest, and what would trusting God with unfinished things look like this week?

  3. Pastor Mo said you do not have to say yes to every good opportunity. What good thing might you need to say no to right now?

  4. Where is it hardest for you to be fully present, and who would be the first to notice if that changed?
